GUNCRAZE RESIN MODEL CARE

GunCraze resin miniatures are produced using high-detail, water-washable photopolymer resin and are fully cleaned and cured before packaging. Resin captures extremely fine detail, but it should be handled differently than softer injection-molded plastic.

Handling & Storage
Handle thin weapons, fingers, antennas, straps, and other small details carefully. Resin can be more brittle than conventional plastic and may break if dropped or bent sharply. Store models indoors in a cool, dry location. Avoid prolonged exposure to water, high humidity, excessive heat, or strong direct sunlight.

Cleaning
For normal dust, use a soft brush or dry cloth. If additional cleaning is necessary, briefly clean the model with a slightly damp cloth or a small amount of mild soap and water, then dry it thoroughly. Do not leave the model soaking in water. Water-washable resin manufacturers caution against prolonged soaking because it can affect the material.

Painting
Resin miniatures can be painted normally. For best results, apply a hobby primer before painting with acrylic or other miniature paints. Make certain the miniature is clean and completely dry before priming.

Assembly & Repairs
Cyanoacrylate, commonly called super glue, is recommended for attaching resin parts. Two-part epoxy may be useful for larger or heavier pieces. Larger joints can also be pinned for additional strength.

Cutting, Drilling & Sanding
Resin may be carefully trimmed, drilled, filed, or sanded. Work slowly around fine details. Avoid breathing resin dust. When sanding or performing other work that creates airborne particles, use appropriate respiratory and eye protection and work in a well-ventilated area. Formlabs specifically recommends considering respiratory protection when sanding printed resin parts.

Important Safety Information
These miniatures contain small parts and are not intended for young children. Do not place resin components in the mouth or ingest resin material. Keep broken fragments and sanding debris away from children and pets.

Your miniature has already been professionally washed and cured. Avoid soaking finished models in water.
