ACTION TACTICS ROLEPLAY
Statement on the Use of AI Artwork
GunCraze currently utilizes a combination of AI-generated artwork and original design direction to support early development and visual presentation.
This decision is intentional and strategic.
At this stage of the project, resources are being prioritized toward system development, rulebook completion, and product launch. AI-generated artwork allows GunCraze to present a visually complete and immersive experience without delaying release.
The use of AI art is not a replacement for artists. It is a temporary solution.
No artists were displaced or replaced in the creation of this rulebook. Commissioned artwork was not a viable option during this phase of development. The choice was between delaying or preventing release entirely, or moving forward with AI-assisted visuals. Without release, there would be no opportunity to generate revenue or grow the project. With release, there is a clear path toward funding and hiring artists in the future.
All AI-generated visuals serve as placeholders, concept representations, or early-stage assets. The long-term goal of GunCraze is to transition toward fully commissioned, human-created artwork as revenue is generated and the project grows.
Support for GunCraze directly contributes to this transition.
Revenue from the GunCraze project will be used to fund commissioned artwork from professional artists, replace AI-generated assets with original illustrations, and expand the visual identity of the GunCraze universe with consistent, high-quality art.
GunCraze is committed to supporting artists and building a sustainable creative ecosystem.
AI is being used to start the engine — not to replace the people who will help it thrive.
